Written and produced by Thomas Alexander Kolbe, the new 3-track digital single “Shakotan Peninsula” (TMM Stardust) captures the atmosphere of Japan’s northwestern coast through a delicate blend of Shakuhachi, Koto, and modern ambient electronics. Inspired by Thomas’s visit to the Shakotan Peninsula in summer 2024, the single translates the region’s vivid light, sea breeze, and quiet isolation into three soundscapes between nature and memory.
The release will be available on January 9, 2026, with pre-orders opening on December 12, 2025 in selected digital stores.
