Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
The future is an abstract concept that depends on so many factors that it cannot be predicted.
I strive in the here and now to leave everything for my girlfriend, my family, and everyone around me in such a way that they can continue to live well without me. I believe everyone should do that. It’s obvious that we cannot achieve such a future with autocrats, neo-Nazis, dictators, extremists, etc.
How do you deal with hate on the internet?
I have staffers who would take care of it without much fuss. But so far nothing special happened in that regard. There have been some lively exchanges of opinions, but all constructive, friendly, civilized and some were or are funny (don’t worry, I have a sense of humor). I enjoy such exchanges of opinions, so I am very thankful to all the people talking with me in one or the other way.

Are you religious?
I am buddhist.
Why do you live in Japan?
At first, it was for professional reasons. Now, it’s for personal, familial reasons. My girl, my big love… and the whole family.
I love this country very much. The country, the people, everything. To me, Japan is like a treasure that must be treated and protected lovingly. I also love Germany, where I was born. However, I have truly put down roots in Japan. I believe fate has destined it to be so for me.
How do you deal with your personal mistakes?
Wow… what a difficult question… I can’t avoid my shortcomings and mistakes. I have to cope with it. But I strive for self-reflection and a good ability to accept criticism. A life-long process…
At the beginning of my relationship, I also told my girlfriend about all my shortcomings and mistakes. She had known me for many years before we came together, but from that point on, she knew definitely everything about me. I wanted to fully let her into my heart and give her my soul. That’s only possible when all cards are on the table.
You know… we both believe in karma and unconditional honesty is one of the essential character traits and principles of action to influence karma in a positive way.
Finally said, it took me a while to become the way I am now. I’m glad to have reached the point where I am now.
Leisure activities and hobbies
Do you like Anime? Do you have a favorite one?
Yes I love Anime! “Elfen Lied”, “Zettai Karen Children” (many hilarious situations!) and “Neon Genesis Evangelion” are my favorite ones.
Which movies are your favorite ones?
Well, I love so many movies… but I think I watched “The Sixth Sense” reeeeally often 🤣 … I’d say 43 times or so. The plot twist in it impressed me very much. My second place is “Forrest Gump”. Else I would name “Pulp Fiction”, “Schindler’s List”, the “Matrix” series, “I am Legend” (OMG I was so emotional!), “The Big Lebowski”, “Trainspotting”, “The Green Mile” (what an outstanding performance of Michael Clarke Duncan!!!), “Dune”, etcetera … etcetera … seriously, there are so many good films that took me on a journey, made me emotional, made me feel good … there are so many movies I could list here, but then my response would probably take several hours!
Music
Your Origin is Germany. Are there any current German musicians you like?
Oh yes. I like Nina Chuba and Paula Hartmann a lot, both female singers with outstanding voices. But not only that. Both are a wonderful songwriters. Nina and Paula also acted in a number of german movies and tv series. Else I would name Danger Dan and Peter Fox.
Under how many pseudonyms have you actually written or released music so far?
So far, I used 32 various pseudonyms for composition works and 14 for own releases. From 1989 til today. 😁
Your musical influences?
I was primarily shaped by electronically generated music and danceable tunes. Artists such as Jean Michel Jarre, Isao Tomita, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, New Order, Gary Numan, Tangerine Dream, YMO, Ryuichi Sakamoto, P-Model and Space have profoundly inspired and influenced me musically from a young age.
Towards the end of the 80s and then in the 90s, artists like Inner City, Mondo Grosso, Orbital, The Orb, Chicane, Moby, The KLF, Fantastic Plastic Machine (FPM) and Crystal Waters emerged… all people whom I found incredibly cool at the time. Since then, my musical spectrum has extremely expanded… of course. Nowadays, I’m open to everything. But these were definitely my early influences.
